Hey guys, welcome to Terpene Tuesdays at Hempire-Co. I’m your terp Smith Travis and today we’ll be talking about a few terpenes you might utilize in your daily life.
Beta-Caryophyllene – one of my personal favorites because it is known to have a direct relationship with our endocannabinoid system. It binds with our cb2 receptor and we can therefore call them the atypical cannabinoid. This is important because it can fight inflammation at its source and help reduce pain when working synergistically with other terpenes and cannabinoids.
What that means is the Beta-Caryophyllene can assist other compounds when passing through our cell membranes often helping them work more efficiently. We can find Beta-Caryophyllene in hops, cloves, and more abundantly in black pepper.
So you are more than likely utilizing a healthy dose if you add pepper and other spices to your plate of food or enjoy a hoppy beverage with your meal.
